STEM Cards are Kit Cards that build into something that works. Print the card, cut out the pieces, build it, then see the science in action.
The STEM Cards
- Twelve Times Slower Gear Ratio Clock: turn the minute hand and watch the gears turn the hour hand twelve times slower. A hands-on way to learn gear ratios and how a clock works.
- Rocket Lamp: a rocket-shaped lamp lit by an LED lamp kit (MH001).

For classrooms and home learning
STEM Cards print flat and every student builds their own. They make a good lesson starter, a maker-club project or a weekend project at home.
Sell them at markets and online
Kit Cards are flat, light and easy to display or post, and buyers love building them. With our Commercial License you can sell printed Kit Cards at markets, craft fairs and school fairs, or online on Etsy and other marketplaces.
Questions
Are STEM Cards free?
Yes. Every STEM Card is free to download on MakerWorld for personal use. To sell printed ones, see our Commercial License.
Do I need extra parts?
The Rocket Lamp uses an LED lamp kit (MH001) for its light. Each model's MakerWorld page lists what you need.
How do I build it?
Cut each numbered piece from the card's frame (the sprue), like a plastic model kit, then slot the pieces together by number.
Are they good for school?
Yes. Each one builds into something that works and shows an idea you can talk about, like how gears change speed.
